Baked Salmon Recipe – Herb Wine Sauce Salmon – Salmon Cooking

Herb Wine Sauce Salmon

Serving Size – 2 to 4 per salmon fillet depending on size


  • Salmon fillets of your choice
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1 clove chopped garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon of rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Step 1 The first step is to make the herb sauce for the fish. To do so, melt the butter in a saucepan, add the wine and lemon juice and bring it all to a boil. Next, stir in the garlic, rosemary, and parsley.

Step 2 – Let the sauce cool down and marinate the salmon fillets in it for about 30 minutes before cooking, or overnight in the refrigerator.

Step 3 – After your fillets are good and marinated, baste the salmon heavily with some additional sauce and bake at 250°F until flakey.

Cooking time for small to medium-sized fillets will be about 30 minutes and large fillets will take about 40 minutes. Also, and very importantly, when baking your salmon, be sure to keep it covered as tightly as possible, as this will help ensure optimal moistness.

When the salmon is done, apply a little more sauce before serving with sides of your choice and enjoy!
