Awesome, Easy, Salmon Recipe #4 – Pesto Feta Cheese Salmon

Here we are! Recipe #4 in my Awesome, Easy, Salmon Recipe series! This one has an Italian taste to it, is super simple to make, and incredibly delicious! In fact, I recently cooked and served this dish to some dinner guests, and one boldly proclaimed, “This is the best fish I have ever eaten in my life!” With that said, let’s get started.

All you’ll need is two simple ingredients (besides the salmon) for this recipe: pesto and feta cheese. While you can either grill or bake the salmon fillet, I recommend baking with this one, as trying to maneuver a big slab of fish on and off the grill causes a lot of the feta cheese to fall off.

Pesto Feta Cheese Salmon

Serving size: 3 to 4 people per fillet

Ingredients:

  • Pesto
  • Feta Cheese
  • Alaskan salmon fillet

Step #1 Go Catch some Alaskan Salmon! Watch my do-it-yourself Alaska fishing adventure video to learn how, or go get some Alaskan salmon from the store.

Step #2 Evenly coat the fillet with pesto.

Step #3 Spread feta cheese over fillet evenly.

Step #4 Bake at 400 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes (on average). Larger, thicker fillets may take a few minutes longer.

Step #5 Let cool, serve and enjoy!
